Our gorgeous James Kung’s Birthday is tomorrow! Jan 9th. He will be 42! I haven’t written on my blog, but I had to write. I was always kidded by James - I am the slob (he wouldn’t call me that), the disorganized one (he was always telling me to write everything down), plan ahead, save money.( There is more…don’t eat candy, etc you don’t have the time, and I don’t want to tell you all anyway. )
Well, to celebrate James, I am going to organize, etc. I am going to Sam’s(his favorite) and get my cleaning supplies. I don’t need any office stuff. We have so much (pens, sticky notes, etc.)
Damn is all I can say about today!
We miss you big guy! Here is how I remember James. I wish his eyes were open though. He is celebrating juan’s birthday with a t-bone steak. Of course Juan ate it. James enjoyed simple things! We enjoyed James.

Hey there, James used outlook and this am I woke up at 5:20 and made coffee. I got on the computer and this popped up:
Roselyn’s Birthday 5days
GrievingGroup 6pm
The 2nd one I added.
James if you can read this…it is not funny.
I had a good labor day Brian, Kevin, Joel, Dad, and Jimmy came. We had chicken and pork shops on the grill. salad, peas, shrimp (that I brought back from my trip with Mrs Kung to FLA.). Corn on the cob. Tea, and beer. Then, brownies and coffee. Joel and Kevin said I ruined the brownies because they had walnuts in them. They were gooey and good.

My life and James’s life was so good. We didn’t take it for granted though. We thanked God everyday. Well, I guess he needed James to bring everybody together and wow did he! James is overwhelmed by how many great freinds he has. They are all so special.
If I had a lot of money. I grew up poor, so I do have a lot of money, because I can pay my bills, help others in need, and have a 401k. But, if I did have a lot of cash…I would help some that are sick and have so little. I have always felt lucky not to have a disease that was scary. Cancer is scary. My Aunt Doris has it. You are victims of trying to do what the doctor says, and then you go and they say, Huh, this isn’t working. Let’s try this, even though it won’t work as well??? Communication is brief, everybody is in a hurry. My friend Jane Hett ( Jodi’s sister’s mother in law) has cancer and is very frightened, and in pain. These people, James, Jane, Doris are very needed people. Maybe that is the key…don’t be so great!
Okay back to what I would do…give to dialysis clinic’s ( I don’t think I could do the dialysis, it seems to hard to live like that) and give to Mental Health. I would like to especially give to people who do not have anyone that can comfort them.Mental illness hits people and others think the person is a bum, or alcoholic, or lazy. I don’t mean to depress you that might be reading this. Here is a story of a very interesting person.
Have a good day, and be thankful.

Happy Birthday to a gorgeous smart guy that happens to be my son!

My oldest son, Brian is 26 today!!!! Feb 8 1981. He is a sweet, smart, genuine person. If I died today I would have had more love, and happiness from memories than most people that live 100 years. Brian loves life and he is a lucky person. I have rarely seen him upset. He is smart, and most people that are smart are lazy. Brian loves to excell. On the first day of 3rd grade Brian got upset in class because he looked in the back of the book, and didn’t think he could do the problems. His teacher called me about this. His teachers all loved him. He has always had so much concern for others, his friends, his family.
He has a great life, working hard with his new business, and his cute wife, Jodi. He says she is so smart.
Brian is going to Callaway Gardens to teach, then to Germany, then he will have to do jury duty.
Brian has a new hobby. He takes pilates, and rides his bike while holding on to his cute doggie, Jameson’s lease.

It is cold outside…and inside. My house is cold too…drafty. Actually , I am practicing the Jimmy Carter save fuel idea. I am keeping the temp 68 and also I don’t get stuffy. Studies Show, ” bull bull” No, I am not talking about Jimmy, he shoots straight. I think that people make up stuff just to get you to do what they want you to do. The news people say- some say” blah, blah.” Then, it like a fact. They do that at work too. They say patients say…so, we have to start this new policy. Never mind the ancient old problems that never get fixed, like doctors hand writing, nursing staffing. Nursing staffing is HAVING ENOUGH NURSES TO WORK YET STAFFING IT SHORT TO SAVE MONEY. Then, the public thinks there is a nursing shortage. Then, so many nurses cannot handle this everyday, and drop out. It more complex than that …another time.
In fact, only the person writing the article said tha…like a rumor or gossip.
Pet peeve of the month: Women who are lazy and say they are “Christain”. They talk all the time about God, yet they are unlikable. Somehow they torment your world and at the same time make you feel bad, because they are “talking to God” all the time. It is making me feel bad even now for talking about them.
I promise to write something more uplifting and interesting next time.
Maybe I will turn up the heat to 72.

Bill Quinn, my father in law, the boys Grandpa, is a wonderful man. He is always thoughtful, and calm. He is one of the smartest people I know. When I first met him, I just wanted to hear and know everthing he knew. He has a radio voice, he was on the radio, TV as a newsman. He still lives in Charlotte, and he loves his family.
Happy Birthday! Thanks for always being a good man.
“A good father is one of the most unsung, unpraised, unnoticed, and yet one of the most valuable assets in our society.”

Of course I got interested in Jimmy Carter and Rosalynn Carter because of my name, Roselyn. Also, we lived in Parrott Ga. close to Plains. Jimmy was the President, and my brothers name is Jimmy. But, mostly knowing what humble people they are and how they enjoy helping other people. Rosalynn was such a care taker. They really seem to be happy now, doing great works. Rosalynn says she can use her fame to get people to focus on needs of others. When you have time, watch this. It is really good in the end when she shows you about African women and the simple change they taught them to prevent eye infections.
