Happy? New Year 2009
2009 That is kinda hard to say. I wonder if it will zip by like 2008. I hate to complain, but I did not really like 2008. What is the little saying that Jackie Goodman and her Mom, Louise said?...From the time you are born til you ride in the hearse, don't complain, it can't get worse. Not exactly right. It is sorta like trying to tell a joke someone else said. My Dad, Clayton Studstill, and his Dad, C.B. Studstill "BAM" were always telling jokes. My Dad told a joke and I tried to repeat it. The guy was explaining how the horses iron shoes are still
hot, even though they turn gray. The young guy pick one up and dropped instantly. The guy said, That burned you didn't it? He said no, it just doesn't take me that long to look at things.
Now, I thought it was funny when my Dad told it to me, as it was relating to something we were talking about. When I told it, it was not only not funny, I had to explain it----------you know how that goes.
Well, boring, unfunny, lenghty, mushy, or corny-I am back! Due to request from many friends and I think it is therapeutic for me. Happy Another year just does not sound right.
